College of Business holds International DBA workshop

Following the first workshop held last November for the 2012 cohort of the Doctor of Business Administration (International) programme (IDBA), the College of Business and the School of Management of Fudan University held Workshops II and III for the 2012 cohort and 2011 cohort respectively at the Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel from 23rd to 25th May.

The workshops’ theme was To build, to share, to transcend – Exploring innovative wisdom of Chinese management. Students were divided into several groups for discussions and presentations in the intensive three-day workshop. Groups were given various topics and case studies for analysis and proposal preparation. A luncheon meeting and sharing session arranged for IDBA cohorts, DBA cohort, and teaching faculty of the two universities was also held on Saturday, 24th May.  Prof Wenyu Dou and Prof Julie Li, Associate Deans of the College of Business, and Prof K K Wei, Programme Director of IDBA welcomed the guests and cohorts at the workshop openings.

About the IDBA

The IDBA programme, which aims to nurture business elites, has been jointly offered by the College in collaboration with the School of Management, Fudan University since 2010. Its teaching mode and curriculum are flexibly designed for senior executives or top management executives in the Mainland China business industry.
