Omnium Global Executive MBA Programme

CityU continues its longstanding participation in the Omnium Global Executive MBA and this year is a teaching partner for Module 3: East Asia. The CityU input aims to provide students with unique insights on doing business in China by arranging a series of events for an all-round experience. 28 students attended a series of events including a guest talk, two site visits, and lecture between 3rd March and 7th March:

Dr Brian Li, Managing Director of GP Industries Limited, shared his experience and strategies on Doing Business in China on 3rd March.

 

 

 

Ms Nancy Ngai, Manager of China Affair of Li & Fung Development (China) Ltd., introduced the company and its operations at the LI & FUNG Ltd. site visit on 4th March.

 

 

 

Mr Stephen Peel, Managing Partner & Group Head of TPG Capital, led a tour and introduced the company at the site visit to TPG Capital on 6th March.

 

 

 

Dr Paul Hempel, Associate Professor of Department of Management at the College of Business, delivered a lecture on the final day of Module 3 summarizing the key points of doing business in China before the students head-off to Europe for Module 4.

 

 

CityU has been a teaching partner in the Omnium Global Executive MBA hosted by the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, Canada and the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland since 2005. The programme provides an 18-month international learning experience which immerses working professionals in core business disciplines from a global perspective.
