HK Finance experts give seminar for BBA students

The College invited the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) and other finance companies to present a talk to BBA students on asset management and funds. Over 40 students attended the seminar at F.A.M. Lecture Theatre, Academic 1 on 16th October.

Speakers:

• Mr David Quah, Vice President, Product Development & Marketing, Cash Trading, Global Markets, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited
• Mr Vincent Chen, Associate Director, ETF Business Development, Value Partners Limited
• Ms Clara Jiang, ETF Specialist, Business Development, China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited

The speakers introduced the Asset Management Industry and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) concept and invited the students to join the ETF & Stock Investment Simulation Game 2014.The competition is open to all university students with online investment simulation games and oral presentations.
A panel discussion with the representatives concluded the event.
