MBA meeting with Dr Hon Lo Wai-kwok

The College of Business was honoured to have? Dr Hon Lo Wai-kwok, BBS, MH, JP, Member of Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) representing the Engineering Functional Constituency, as a guest speaker?for the MBA course?FB6706 - Executive Discovery & Network held at Academic 3 on 28th?October.

Dr Lo is actively involved in the community and has served many government organizations, professional bodies, and trade associations. He shared his 30 years of experience in engineering, technological innovation, and industrial management, more specifically in infrastructure, town planning, environment housing, technology, industry, education, and community service.

“I have witnessed the development of Hong Kong’s business sector, from low-skilled to high-tech, and from merely local operations to rapid expansion into the mainland market and beyond. This has been an extraordinary experience,” Dr Lo said.

The sharing was concluded by a short Q&A session. The students expressed interest in learning more about the factors influencing future economic growth, direction of technological development, and strategy to education seniors on advanced technology.?
