MBA Team wins the Most Successful Marketing Plan Award in charity challenge

CityU MBA students and alumni joined the Operation Santa Claus (OSC) MBA Challenge 2014, representing the City University of Hong Kong to compete with 14 other MBA teams in Hong Kong from 1st November to 31st December 2014. The team has won the Most Successful Marketing Plan Award and was the second highest fundraiser out of 15 MBA teams in the Challenge.

The Hitchcock team consisted of five 2012 and 2013 cohort students and alumni: Cathy Fang, Samuel Li, Ken Lin, Christine Seto, and Tanya Tang. They had arranged several fundraising events in both Hong Kong and China. A total of $150,938 was raised for the needy.

The Hitchcock team greatly appreciated the help and support from their Programme Director Prof Kevin Chiang, the MBA Office, and all their supporters. “We won because of you. Thank you our dear Hitchcock fans,” the team added.

About the OSC MBA Challenge 2014

OSC is an annual charity campaign jointly organised by South China Morning Post and Radio Television Hong Kong. The OSC MBA Challenge is an inter-school campaign for MBA students to utilise all their innovation, creativity and business savvy to raise money for the needy in Hong Kong and mainland China.
