Appointment of Assistant Dean and Director of PhD Programme

Message from the Dean:

I am pleased to be able to report the concurrent appointment of Prof Wayne Yu, of the Department of Economics and Finance and Department of Accountancy, as Assistant Dean (Executive Education) from 2 March 2015 to 1 March 2017. Prof Yu is tasked with supporting CB’s performance in our international programs and further establishing executive education training with the business community.

I am also pleased to announce the concurrent appointment of Dr Lu Ye, of the Department of Management Sciences, as Director of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Programme for a period of two years from 16 March 2015 to 15 March 2017. Dr Lu will work towards the further growth of the PhD Programme, including PhD recruitment, student mentoring, course coordination, and placement and mentoring services.

This strengthening of our management team will help CB meet the challenges and opportunities ahead, and I am sure you will offer every support to Prof Yu and Dr Lu as they take up these important and demanding posts.
