The College of Business held its annual Advanced Management Programme at Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley (Berkeley-Haas), between 3rd – 7th August. The theme for the programme this year was Innovation Management for Global Business.
Dr John Leung, Director of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme, led the group of 32 students from the DBA, EMBA and MBA programmes of the College to the 5-day cultural and academic exchange tour in San Francisco.
The programme provided on-campus classes on various topics such as global market opportunities, innovation and supply chain management, etc. with lectures delivered by professors of Haas School of Business. Programme highlights included team workshops, group presentations, and corporate visits to leading international companies, such as LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional business network, and Frog Design, a global design and innovation firm founded in 1969. Online discussions with company experts were conducted prior to the company site visits.

Participants were offered the valuable opportunity to gain international exposure and learning experience on the UC Berkeley campus, and network with senior executives from diverse fields. Certificates of Completion were awarded to all participants by the Haas School of Business.
About the CityU-UC Berkeley Advanced Management Programme
The CityU-UC Berkeley Advanced Management Programme is launched under the partnership agreement signed among College of Business, CityU and UC Berkeley Centre for Executive Education at the Haas School of Business. It is a 5-day advanced management workshop delivered in every August.
Only current students and alumni of MBA, EMBA, DBA and other Taught Postgraduate Programmes offered by the College of Business will be eligible to apply for admission to this Programme.
