 Prof Wenyu Dou, Associate Dean of the College  of Business and Professor of the Marketing Department, was invited as a guest  speaker for the Branding in the Internet  Era seminar at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 26th  August. The seminar was jointly organized by the Hong  Kong Brand Development Council, Hong  Kong Trade Development Council, The  Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, and Trade and Industry Department of HKSAR.

 Prof  Dou introduced the applicability of online experience to different target  groups and shared a few cases to illustrate how businesses achieve brand  building by integrating online and offline experiences. He further discussed  the rationales behind Online to Offline (O2O) branding.

Mr Daniel Hui, Principal of KPMG in China Tax; Mr Daniel Chan, Founder Chairman of Hong Kong General Chamber of Cross-border E-commerce; and Dr Vincent Wong, Chairman of Pompei Holdings Ltd, also shared their experiences to the participants during the forum. The seminar attracted over 800 participants from more than 400 companies.
