Appointment of Associate and Assistant Dean

Message from the Dean:

I am pleased to be able to announce the appointments of Dr Weiquan Wang, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems, as Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programmes) and Dr Isabel Yan, Associate Professor of Department of Economics and Finance, as Assistant Dean (Assurance of Learning) with effect from 19th October 2015.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the outgoing Associate Dean, Prof Julie Li, for her service and excellent work in this role. Prof Li’s work has contributed significantly to CB’s undergraduate programmes success over the past years, and I am very grateful to her for her meticulous stewardship as well as introducing two new undergraduate programmes. I would also like to register a vote of thanks to Dr Ron Kwok, Assistant Dean (Career Service), for his strong support and sterling contribution in the implementation of Assurance of Learning at the College, which has been one of the major driving forces for the continuous improvement of our curriculum.

I am sure you will join me in welcoming Dr Wang and Dr Yan to the CB Management team and that you will extend them every support in fulfilling the College’s important work.
