CB holds seminar for MBA students from City University of Macau


The Executive Education Unit of the College of Business and Faculty of Business, City University of Macau co-organized a 2-day intensive programme 2015 Study Tour at City University of Hong Kong from 16th to 17th October. 30 MBA students from Faculty of Business at City University of Macau attended a short term training programme at CityU.

The programme aimed to deepen the students’ knowledge on business management and the Hong Kong financial market. They were also given a chance to enrich the international exposures by visiting the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong.


Prof Wayne Yu, Assistant Dean (Executive Education) of the College, and Dr Gavin Chau, Associate Dean of Faculty of Business of City University of Macau, welcomed the students in the opening ceremony and wished them a fruitful and memorable learning experience.  

Prof Ziguang Chen, Professor of the Department of Management, opened the seminar and explored globalization in business management and the concept of cultural intelligence.

Dr Wilson Chan, Assistant Director of the MBA Programme, delivered an interactive lecture on Global Market Development and its impact on the financial market of Hong Kong.

A short tour to the Civil Aviation Department Headquarters was arranged, together with the Executive Master of Business Administration (Chinese) students. Ir Dr Wai-to Chan, Assistant Vice President of PCCW Solutions Limited, presented a talk on an overview of the aviation industry and air traffic control service of Hong Kong. The tour ended with a visit to the Aviation Education Path.
