Orientation for CB inbound exchange students

178 students from 77 partner universities around the world arrived for their academic exchange at the College of Business in the first week of January.

The Internationalization Team of the College organised a four-day orientation from 5th to 8th January to welcome the inbound exchange students. A series of activities including a lunch reception, academic advice sessions, briefings, orienteering games and an outdoor day-trip were arranged.

To better understand the university life, exchange students were briefed on academic information, visa regulations and course registration, etc. They were also given briefing sessions by the Exchange Student Club members on upcoming events, and a guided campus visit in CityU. With intensive orientation activities provided, it is hoped that the exchange students can gradually develop a sense of belonging to the CityU and adapt well to the new campus environment.

A sightseeing day tour to Tai O, the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery was one of the highlights of the orientation programme. It offered a great opportunity for the students to immerse themselves in the local culture!
