Students look to land dream jobs at CityU Career Fair 2016

CityU Student Development Services  hosts the CityU Career Fair 2016 from 13th to 14th April. The fair aims to serve as a platform for students to obtain useful job information, explore career opportunities and reach out to potential employers.  More than 60 employers from a wide range of private and public business enterprises participated in the fair this year.  Information booths were set up for students to enquire job details and for employers to conduct an on-site job application or interview.

The Career Fair kicked off with an opening ceremony in the first day of the event. Dr Chi-tim Wong, Director of Student Development Services, gave his opening remarks and expressed his gratitude to the participating units. He hoped that students were able to find their suitable jobs through this event, and to have a successful career path in the future.

Natalie Sung Lok-yan, final year student of BBA Human Resource Management, who is now working as an intern in the Sa Sa Cosmetic Company Limited, participated in the fair with her colleague, “I am honoured to be here today and to reach out to many students. This is a good opportunity for me to apply what I have learned about human resources to real practice. I hope CityU students are able to know more about different companies and jobs through this fair,” Natalie said.

More programmes including CV photo taking services, recruitment talk and career talks are conducted by company partners in the two-day fair.
