Industry professionals and alumni share work experiences in multinational companies


The Department of Management organised a career workshop titled “Finding a Job and Being Successful in a Multinational Company” on 23rd April. The workshop aimed to provide insights on career planning by inviting executives from multinational companies to share their work expereince and stories. The full-day event was sponsored by the Department and specially held at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, offering the students a chance of retreat after working hard for the academic year. More than 150 undergraduate students participated in the event.

Prof Brian Keane Boyd, Head of the Department of Management, opened the event with welcoming remarks. He encouraged the students to make use of the sharing session to learn from industry professionals and alumni to plan ahead their career in a broader and global perspective. Prof Boyd also took this opportunity to express his gratitude to all the company representatives and alumni for supporting the event.

Dr Andy Kwan, Instructor of the Department of Management, facilitated the panel discussion. The participants actively asked the panel about career prospects and sought advice on interview preparation.
