A group of 20  students from the Raffles Institution, founded in 1823 and being one of the oldest and widely recognised esteemed  secondary schools in Singapore, visited the College  of Business on 6th June.
In preparing students to have a global perspective, the Raffles Institution organises annual overseas educational trips for students to understand cultures, education and economic systems of the world. Through visits to universities, students can better prepare for their vibrant campus life in the future.
On behalf of the  College, Miss Tania Lau Yuen-kei, Instructor I of the Department of Information  Systems, welcomed the  delegation. Miss Lau gave a detailed presentation on the College’s background,  the six Departments and their respective programmes, as well as the two newly  introduced undergraduate programmes of the College, namely, BBA in Global  Business and BSc in Computational  Finance.
Miss Lau also introduced the College’s established student exchange programme, local and global internship arrangements, mentorship scheme and competition opportunities, etc. She then responded to students’ questions on the College’s admission for international students and the learning environment of CityU.
