The College of Business Master of  Business Administration (MBA) programme invited Mr  Jackson Kwan, who oversees the Regional Major Account  Engagement & Strategic Operations at Bloomberg L.P., to share his insights on the topic of “There’s no selling, there’s only buying”  at the MBA Professional Forum which was held on 19th May.
Mr Kwan is a Senior Certified Commercial E-Business Specialist with the China  General Chamber of Commerce and the Certified E-Commerce Consultant with the US  Institute of Certified E-Commerce Consultant. In the forum, Mr Kwan shared his  experience with Bloomberg in providing clients financial data services. He also  explained about the proprietary product characteristics of the Bloomberg  Terminal, their target customers, as well as the product positioning and  marketing strategies of the Company.
When asked about the tips on effective communications with business clients, he suggested careful listening is the key. He said, “The more you understand your clients, the more likely you can offer the right products to them and close the transactions.”
Mr Kwan further talked about some interesting updates about the industry, and gave useful career advice to the students.
