CB organised CityU Exchanges Fair in October to promote cultural exchange and internationalisation.
Prof Houmin Yan, Dean of the College of Business, opened the event saying:
“Every year I very much look forward to seeing inbound students  in CityU, as I believe internationalisation and its exchange programme should  be one of the important components in university education. We are grateful to  have your presence here, bringing different cultures to CityU.”
  
  Prof Yan also showed his gratitude to all inbound exchange  students, for being ambassadors for CityU and the College, and let the world to  understand CityU better.
Bryan Kan Lai-kan, President of the Exchange  Student Club 2016-17, said during the opening ceremony, “My exchange at the University  of Nottingham, the United Kingdom, left an ecstatic mark in my life. The  journey was inspiring and has changed my life differently.”
“I hope this event can provide an  excellent platform to share our own culture with neighbour fellas, and the  best of all, exchange our life journeys together.” 
  27 booths were set up by the inbound exchange students to  display specialties from their home countries such as food, souvenirs, and  memorabilia. The students made a tremendous effort to introduce their countries  to visitors. Highlights of the event included singing and dance performances by  students from Denmark, Korea, mainland China, Taiwan, and by local students.  More than hundreds of guests and students attended the event.
Through the Student Exchange Programme, the College aims to create a multi-cultural and vibrant learning environment on campus.
