College International Advisory Board annual meeting 2016

The College International Advisory Board (CIAB) meeting is an annual session for Board members to advise on matters relating to directions and strategies for the future development of the College. This year, the College hosted the eighth CIAB meeting on 8th November.

The meeting was chaired by Dr Changle Liu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Satellite Television Company and CityU Honorary Doctor of Letters.

Members commended the College for making significant progress in the last year, especially in bringing its internationalization to the next level and in enhancing its programme portfolio. Insightful suggestions from the members were received including ways to enhance students’ readiness for career life, and to advance the College’s collaboration with international institutions and organizations. The Board was also consulted on the renewal of the College’s Vision statement, which sets out important directives to guide the College’s long-term endeavours.
