Bridging environment to business

The College Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme organized a CEO Forum titled “The Environment: Business Opportunity & Responsibility” on 27th February. The speaker, Ms Christine Loh Kung-wai, JP, explained the importance of integrating environmental issues into a company's strategy, and eventually yielding business opportunities. 

Ms Loh is now the Under Secretary for Environment, and was formerly the CEO of the non-profit public policy think tank Civic Exchange prior to joining the HKSAR Government. From 1992 to 2000, Ms Loh dedicated her time as a politician and member of the Legislative Council, addressing many environment-related issues. She also published a series of books and research papers, and has considerable experience in energy, climate change and environmental policies.
