Open forum in Shenzhen on asset allocation and content marketing

The open forum entitled “Asset Allocation and Content Marketing for Financial Companies”, under the Intelligence Gathering Series (城商智匯講堂) was held in Shenzhen on 29th March. The forum was jointly organized by the College of Business, CityU Shenzhen Alumni Chapter, Hong Kong Asia Business College, Shenzhen Research Institute of Nan Kai University, Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Shenzhen, and Silkroad Innovation Commercial Association (Shenzhen), and attracted over 100 participants to attend.

Prof Ziguang Chen, Director of the Centre for Advanced Business Research and Executive Education (Shenzhen), opened the forum with a welcome address. Prof Wayne Yu, Assistant Dean (Executive Education) of the College, delivered a talk on “Asset management: a global perspective”. Prof Yu addressed the common misconceptions about investment, and recommended some sustainable asset management strategies.

In the second part, Prof Wenyu Dou, Associate Dean (Graduate Programmes), discussed the topic on “Content marketing strategies and practices for financial companies”. Prof Dou introduced a general practice about content marketing for financial companies and identified the critical elements to launch a successful marketing campaign.
