Gobi Challenge celebration

A celebration dinner was held on 15th July at CityU, to congratulate the College’s EMBA learning partners in completing the 12th School of Business - Xuanzang Road Gobi Challenge (玄奘之路第十二屆商學院戈壁挑戰賽), which was held from 20th to 25th May. 25 EMBA participants took part in the four-day endurance footrace, for a full course of 112km in the uninhabited Gobi Desert, and overcame unexpected challenges and adversities in the journey.

In the dinner, participants had an enjoyable reunion, sharing their experience in the race. Prof Wenyu Dou, Associate Dean (Postgraduate Programmes) and Director of the EMBA (Chinese) programme, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the participants and commended their endless support and generous sponsorship for the competition.

The night ended with a kick-off ceremony, which was led by a group of high-spirited EMBA learning partners, to announce the commencement of preparing the 13th Gobi Challenge next year.
