Embarking on a global learning journey

The College of Business welcomes 313 new inbound exchange students from 118 partner universities around the world for academic exchange. The College’s Internationalization Team and the Exchange Student Club (ESC) of the College of Business have co-organized a five-day orientation programme from 28th August to 1st September, including a series of welcoming activities, academic advice sessions, meeting with the ESC members, and local day tour, etc.

With the aim of helping the exchange students to adapt to the learning environment at CityU, the College has provided guidance on course registration. Exchange students were given the chance to explore the campus and the vicinity through orienteering games and tour. Other cultural activities such as Cantonese learning workshops, and a day trip to the Big Buddha were offered to the students to learn about Hong Kong. It is hoped that these welcoming activities could enhance interactions between international and local students, and help develop supportive relationship among the students.
