DBA 2017 Orientation and Residential Workshop I

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme hosted the 2017 Orientation and Residential Workshop I from 1st to 3rd September in Macau.

Prof Muammer Ozer, Director of the DBA programme, kicked off the orientation by a welcoming speech, followed by an informative presentation by Dr Sidney Leung, Associate Director of the DBA programme, on course and administration matters of the DBA learning journey.

As part of the intensive workshop, students were introduced by the following departmental representatives on their respective research disciplines:

• Prof Yue Ma, Head and Chair Professor of Department of Economics and Finance
• Prof Leon Zhao, Chair Professor of Department of Information Systems
• Prof William Wan, Professor of Department of Management
• Dr Liu Zheng, Associate Professor of Department of Accountancy
• Dr Gang Hao, Associate Professor of Department of Management Sciences
• Dr Maggie Dong, Associate Professor of Department of  Marketing

Guest speakers including Ms Lynne Sprugel of Cohort 2016, Mr Eric Chong of Cohort 2015, and Mr Benny Luk of Cohort 2014, as well as alumnus Dr Andrew Hui (DBA’15), shared the challenges and rewards of their DBA journey, in the workshop.
