Accountancy students named finalists in QP Case Analysis Competition 2017

Two student teams from the Department of Accountancy were among the eight finalists in the Qualification Programme (QP) Case Analysis Competition 2017, which was organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

The two teams are comprised of students:

Clement Wong Wan-lung (team leader)      
Anna Ma Ho-ming

One of the team members, Clement, said, "This competition helps cultivate our interpersonal, problem-solving and presentation skills, which are definitely beneficial in preparing for our future careers."

The QP Analysis Competition is an inter-tertiary event aims to develop participants’ business skills, cultivate their professional judgment and prepare them for the business environment. Students in accounting and business studies are asked to investigate a specific business case and to propose feasible solutions. Through the competition, students will enhance their analytical competence, problem solving abilities, and expand their network in the industry.
