Engaging talents through social intrapreneurship

Focusing on the key theme "Compensation & Benefits: 2018 Outlook", the Classified Post HR Conference was held on 17th November. The conference featured a range of expert speakers to share views on the contemporary compensation & benefits strategies, the latest pay trend and outlook in enhancing employee engagement in Hong Kong.

Dr Christina Sue-Chan, Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Associate Director of the Office of Education Development and Gateway Education of CityU, was invited as the keynote speaker at the conference’s closing session.

Titled “Engaging talents: Coaching and social intrapreneurship as rewards”, Dr Sue-Chan talked about how companies can enhance engagement with employees, in particular, the Net Generation.

“It is important for young people to find personal fulfillment at workplaces. Companies have to empower the social intrapreneurs, who initiate new changes and innovation for the organization, and to provide opportunities for them to coach and to be coached,” said Dr Sue-Chan.
