Forum on content marketing and global supply chain development


The open forum entitled 新絲路 新行銷 新變革—暨香港城市大學商學院北京新年論壇, jointly organized by the EMBA (Chinese) programme and the Financial Times China, was held in Beijing on 5th January.  

The keynote speech, with the theme of “Belt and Road (B&R) Initiatives and supply chain development”, was given by Prof Houmin Yan, Dean of the College of Business. “Under the initiative, Hong Kong can enjoy more trade opportunities with other B&R countries, riding on its sound basis in finance, legal, logistic and services”, he said.

Another presentation, featuring new developments in content marketing, was conducted by Prof Wenyu Dou, Professor in Marketing and Director of the EMBA (Chinese) programmeProf Dou illustrated successful cases on the use of live videos in content marketing, and discussed ways for effective branding strategies.   

Ms Qian Li, Founder of Balloonfish Snack and brand building expert in China, shared her new perspectives on streamlining the marketing process.

The forum ended with a short sharing session by the EMBA (Chinese) programme team, followed by a relaxing networking time.
