CityU-FudanU DBA Alumni Chapter inaugurated

The College of Business alumni network has gained a new, strong force when the CityU-FudanU DBA Alumni Chapter was formally inaugurated on 12th January. The inauguration ceremony was held during the welcoming dinner for the 2017 cohort, followed by a mingling session for the programme alumni, current cohorts and faculty. 

Prof Haibin Yang, Director of the CityU-FudanU Doctor of Business Administration programme, and Prof Changjiang Lv, Associate Dean of the School of Management and Director of the DBA programme of FudanU, gave their opening remarks to the event. Both expressed their warm welcome to the new cohort and congratulated the establishment of the alumni chapter. Prof Yang said, “I am glad to be here to witness the inauguration of the DBA Alumni Chapter. I believe it will become a valuable asset to our College’s advancement in the long run.”  

Since its establishment in 2010, the programme has been actively building its alumni network. The newly elected Chairman of the Executive Committee of the DBA Alumni Chapter, Dr Zongda Jia (Cohort 2012), said that the establishment of the CityU-FudanU DBA Alumni Chapter showcased the strong commitment of the alumni in the programme, “I am excited to see the foundation of the alumni chapter and the executive committee.  Let’s work together to build stronger ties between the CityU and FudanU, and within the DBA community.”
