Mabel Chan graduated with a BA in Accountancy in 1993.  She then joined KPMG and subsequently PwC as an auditor. She values audit greatly and would like to apply what she has learned from the College, KPMG and PwC to smaller and growing enterprises. She believes it would help the SME sector to enhance the quality of financial reporting and internal control for their business growth. After resigning from PwC and she took a part-time MBA programme. In parallel, she started her own CPA firm. Throughout the years she had shared her knowledge to support the business development of her clients. Her business grew swiftly before merging with Grant Thornton. She is now Deputy Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Hong Kong Limited. Along her career, she has taken up various roles in promoting and supporting the development of students, the accounting profession, the government and wider society.

As a devoted and supportive alumna, Venus is our Alumni Ambassador and serves as a Departmental Advisory Committee member of the Department of Accountancy. She is also actively involved in mentorship programmes for our accountancy undergraduates. Venus has given enthusiastic service to the community. She is a committee member of ACCA Hong Kong and is serving the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications as a specialist and financial expert.

Johnny Wong graduated with a BA in Information Systems in 1995. He is the co-founder of Hotmob Limited and Vice Chairman of HKAIM. He has over 18 years of experience in mobile software development and the digital media industry. He established the first premium advertising network in Hong Kong and expanded the business to Japan, and later developed the largest big data-driven hybrid mobile advertising marketplace. Johnny was awarded the "Digital Marketer of 2015" at the Media Convergence Awards for his percipient vision and technical know-how. He took Hotmob further by integrating machine learning into programmatic advertising solutions and developed the new advertising model Audience Intelligence maximising custom audience reach.
