CityU and Tsinghua University host forum and EMBA+MPA Programme info session in Hong Kong

CityU College of Business and the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University jointly organised a forum titled“Cultivation of Senior Executives in Greater Bay Area” (粵港澳大灣區高級人才培養論壇) at the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel on 28 November 2018. There was also an admission talk for the Asia’s first EMBA+MPA programmes jointly launched by the two schools.

Highlight of the event was the forum featuring five distinguished guests. Mr Tam Yiu-chung, current member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress; Dr Shusong Ba, Chief China Economist of HKEX; Professor Houmin Yan, Dean of College of Business; Professor Xiaofeng Wu, Secretary of Party Committee of the Graduate School at Shenzhen-Tsinghua University; and Mr Jasper Tsang, former President of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, shared their views on talents management in the Greater Bay Area. A round-table discussion was then held and six successful young leaders from various sectors had an in-depth discussion on the development opportunities for young people in the Greater Bay Area. The last part of the event was an admission talk of the EMBA+MPA programmes that were recently launched by CityU and Tsinghua University.
