BBA Finance student triumphs in Belt and Road competition

The 2019 "My Interfaces with the Belt and Road Initiative" Integrated Abilities Competition was successfully held on 26 January at CityU. Undergraduate student from the Department of Economics and Finance Sunny Zhang, together with her partner, won the championship in the Youth Open Division. Organised by Belt and Road Pioneer, the competition aimed to enhance public awareness and interest in Belt and Road-related issues.

Sunny’s team demonstrated well understanding on Belt and Road, and won the competition. The team will take part in an exploration trip to Vietnam in July. Sunny is excited about the trip and she said, “It is such a precious opportunity to know more about the Belt and Road initiative. We will make use of this chance to introduce Hong Kong to the world.”

Also attending the competition were officiating guest Honorable Bernard Chan, GBS, JP; speaker Dr Wilson Chan, Adjunct Professor of the College of Business and Associate Director of MBA programme; and other guests including Dr Raymond Wong, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programmes) of the College.
