MBA Orientation 2019

The newly admitted students of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme have embarked on their fascinating learning journey at CityU. A two-day orientation event was held between 31 August and 1 September at the Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel.

Professor Kevin Chiang, MBA Director kick-started the event with a warm welcome remark. He said, “CityU MBA programme is designed to make your learning experience personally and professionally rewarding. You are encouraged to be open-minded and positive. Please embrace the challenges ahead and enjoy your learning journey with us.”  He also expressed his appreciations to alumni and students who had offered tremendous support in the orientation.

Another highlight of the orientation was a welcome dinner where over 100 guests comprising faculty, MBA mentors, alumni and senior students showing support and sharing studying tips with the new cohort. The dinner had also invited Dr George Lam, BBS, Chairman of Hong Kong Cyberport to share his views on the new growth opportunity and importance of sustainability for future businesses.
