EMBA (Chinese) welcomes Autumn 2019 cohort

The orientation for Autumn 2019 cohort of the Executive Master of Business Administration (Chinese) (EMBA (Chinese)) programme was held from 17th to 20th October. Through the interactive and well-designed activities, the 37 new students got prepared for the exciting learning journey at CityU.

Professor Wenyu Dou, Director of the EMBA (Chinese) Programme and Associate Dean (Graduate Programmes), kick-started the orientation with a lecture on the wisdom of Chinese and Western management, getting students to know more about the modern economy and China, as well as the challenges ahead in their 2-year studies.

Apart from lectures, the group also learnt from a series of activities, to name some, a visit to a biotechnology company Vitargent at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks; a team-building training in Sai Kung, and an MBTI test which allows students to know themselves and their characteristics better. A welcome dinner was arranged on the third day, where EMBA and DBA alumni, as well as faculty members joined together to welcome the new cohort and to share their experience and tips of learning at CityU.
