Dinner gathering for GBU and CFFT students

The College of Business hosted the annual dinner gathering for BBA Global Business (GBU) and BSc Computational Finance and Financial Technology (CFFT) students on 4 November. Over 100 students from various cohorts spent an enjoyable night with the College’s management team including Acting Dean Professor Houmin Yan, Associate Dean (Research and Faculty) Professor Weiquan Wang, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programmes) Dr Raymond Wong, Associate Dean (Internationalisation) Dr Mary Pang , Head of Department of Economics and Finance Professor Yue Ma, Head of Department of Management Professor Jane Lu, Acting Head of Department of Marketing Professor David Li, CFFT programme leader Professor Tao Li and CFFT Deputy programme leader Dr Alvin Leung. Some other faculty members and staff from various business units also joined the gathering to understand better about students’ needs and to share tips for their studies.

In the dinner, Professor Yan encouraged students to grab every opportunity to make the university life meaningful. He highlighted that the College has strived to give the best and offer a lot of opportunities and resources to enhance students’ learning experience. He also expressed his appreciation to faculty members and administration staff for their dedication and unfailing support to students.
