Welcoming dinner for IDBA 2014 cohort

The Doctor of Business Administration (International) programme (IDBA) held a welcoming dinner for its 2014 cohort at the City Top Staff Lounge on the evening of 16th January.

It was the 5th collaboration with Fudan University since 2010 and the programme successfully recruited 16 students in 2014 admission.

The event was kicked-off by a welcoming speech jointly delivered by Prof Houmin Yan, Dean of the College of Business, and Prof Xiongwen Lu, Dean of the School of Management at Fudan University. The Deans expressed their excitement at the programme development and they looked forward to the continuous collaboration between the two schools. They wished the students a fruitful learning experience. 

Prof Horace Ip, Vice-President (Students Affairs), Prof Sunny Lee, Vice-President (Administration), Prof Paul Lam, Chief-of-Staff, Prof Gang Hao, Associate Vice-President (Development), Prof K K Wei, Programme Director of IDBA, and Mr Alex Tham, Assistant Dean of CB; and Prof Changjiang Lv, Associate Dean of the School of Management and Programme Director of DBA programme of FudanU, joined Prof Yan and Prof Lu in the toasting ceremony.

Over 20 alumni and 30 faculty members of both schools attended the event. Following the speech delivered by the representative of 2014 cohort, students met their learning partners and faculty in a self-introduction session.  

The dinner ended with a group photo-taking and all participants had a delightful evening.
