CB introduces undergraduate programmes to outstanding Guangdong High School students

A group of 55 students from high schools including Guangdong Experimental High School, The Affiliated High School of South China Normal University, Zhuhai No.1 High School and The Experimental School Affiliated with Zhuhai No.1 High School paid a visit to CityU campus on 3rd February.

On behalf of the College of Business, Dr Biying Shou, Deputy Programme Leader of the College’s BSc in Computational Finance Programme and Assistant Professor of the Department of Management Sciences, welcomed the delegation. Dr Shou gave a short presentation about the College and highlighted several undergraduate programmes in her talk:

• BBA in Global Business
  
• BSc in Computational Finance
  
• Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme between CityU and Columbia University
  
• Joint Bachelor’s Degree Programme between CityU and National Taiwan University (Department of Accountancy/Economics and Finance)

Dr Shou also shared on the College’s exchange and internship opportunities, and career prospect of graduates, etc. She concluded her sharing with personal story, to encourage the young students to seize every opportunity to gain overseas exposures, and to well plan their direction and path in study and at work.

Ms Judy Ma, External Liaison Officer of Global Services Office (GSO), offered the students with a campus tour and a series of briefings to introduce them to the University, campus life and admission information of the undergraduate programmes.
