Orientation for CB inbound exchange students

The College of Business welcomes 320 inbound exchange students from 126 partner universities around the world for academic exchange.

The Internationalization Team of the College organised a four-day orientation from 23rd to 26th August to welcome the exchange students. A series of activities including a lunch reception, academic advice session, meeting with the Exchange Student Club, orienteering games at CityU and a day-trip in Hong Kong were arranged.

To have a better understanding of the university life, the exchange students were briefed on courses matters, and other important notes about staying in Hong Kong. They were also given briefing sessions by the Exchange Student Club members on upcoming events, and a guided campus tour in CityU. With all the exuberant orientation activities, the College hopes that the inbound students can gradually develop a sense of belonging to the CityU and adapt well to the new living environment in Hong Kong.

Another highlight of the orientation programme went to a sightseeing day tour to Tai O, the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. It offered a great opportunity for non-local students to learn about the local culture, and interact with other fellow students.
