Youth Entrepreneur Challenge 2018

The College of Business has organized the second Youth Entrepreneur Challenge, a business proposal writing competition for secondary school students to sharpen their entrepreneurial skills in April 2018.

Supported by Yahoo, China Eastern Airlines, Young Founders School and DMA, the event has attracted 35 teams with over 170 students to join. A workshop on business development was offered to the students prior to the competition. The students were then required to create a detailed business proposal about their startups. The panel of judges would base on their data analysis, creativity and written skills to evaluate their performance.

Professor Weiquan Wang, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programmes) of the College said, “We are happy to see that many secondary school students joined the competition. We believe that incubating entrepreneurial spirit is important to keep up Hong Kong’s competitiveness in the region, and to bring more exciting chances to our next generation.”
