CB welcomes Spring 2019 cohort of EMBA (Chinese) programme


Orientation for Spring 2019 cohort of the Executive Master of Business Administration (Chinese) (EMBA (Chinese)) programme was held from 11th to 14th April. 38 new learning partners have embarked on their two-year learning journey at CityU where they will explore new business knowledge and best practices in the context of modern economy and China market.

Professor Wenyu Dou, Director of the EMBA (Chinese) Programme and Associate Dean (Graduate Programmes) gave a warm welcome to the new learning partners. He said, “CityU’s EMBA programme is set to offer you a broad and deep learning experience, especially on the China market.” He subsequently kicked start the class by sharing insights on management wisdom.

The orientation programme comprised an array of activities, including campus tour, workshops, seminars and an MBTI test which allowed students to discover and understand their own personalities and potential leadership role. Highlights of the orientation programme included a team building training at Sai Kung, a company visit to Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and a welcome dinner with the presence of faculty members, guests, as well as alumni from various cohorts.
