BBA Marketing final year students awarded for their outstanding consultancy projects

Around 100 BBA Marketing students, 24 BBA Marketing Information Management students, and over 50 guests including company representatives, faculty members, and students joined the Company Consultancy Projects and Active Learner Awards - Joint Awards Presentation Ceremony Semester B 2014/2015 held by the Department of Marketing (MKT) and the Department of Information Systems (IS) at Wei Hing Theatre on 28th May. The ceremony recognized outstanding projects conducted by BBA Marketing and BBA Marketing Information Management final year students.

Prof Arthur Ellis, Provost of CityU, opened the event congratulating the students for their accomplishments. Mr Alex Tham, Assistant Dean of the College and Teaching Fellow of MKT, and representatives of the nine participating companies, announced the results of the winning teams and presented the trophies and certificates to the students. Votes of thanks were given to the companies and teaching staff by student representatives of the programmes.

Mr Tham, who is also the Active Learning Leader of the Active Learning Programme, presented the certificates to the outstanding students.

Prof Julie Li, Associate Head of the College and Professor of MKT, commended on the students’ hard work in their projects and thanked the teaching staff and participating companies for providing support and guidance for the students.
