CB at CityU Information Day 2018

The annual CityU Information Day was held on 13 October. A series of activities including talks, exhibitions, student performances, facility tours and interactive workshops were offered to high school students and parents to explore tertiary education journey at CityU.

The College of Business and its six Departments held 24 admission talks, while exhibition booths were set up for visitors to meet our senior management, professors and current student to learn more about the programmes and opportunities offered by the College. These activities have attracted more than 3,000 visitors on that day.

In order to cater for the pressing need from the business world for talents in financial technology, one of the College’s flagship degree programmes – BSc Computation Finance will be renamed BSc Computational Finance and Financial Technology. Students admitted to this programme and BBA Global Business Majors will be eligible to a more comprehensive scholarship scheme. Also, for attracting high caliber students to the College’s BBA progarmmes, qualified students will be allowed to have a free choice of first and second major under the major switching arrangement.

Around 350 student ambassadors from the College of Business Leadership Club, College of Business Leadership Club Alpha and departmental student societies supported the event.
