The Department of Management at City University of Hong Kong warmly hosted Mr. Edmund Chan, our guest speaker for the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Talk Series, who delivered an inspiring presentation titled " Youth × Technology × Social Impact: How to Use Entrepreneurship to Achieve Personal Value and Social Contribution."
Mr. Chan emphasized that a clear mission and compelling vision are fundamental to entrepreneurial success, providing direction and motivation through challenges. He explained how aligning business goals with personal purpose creates sustainable ventures that generate both financial returns and social value. Highlighting the critical role of collaboration, he shared examples of successful partnerships that amplified impact and accelerated growth.
His colleague, Miss Michelle Che, also shared the innovative "GREEN BLEND" initiative – a future-food concept designed to address elderly malnutrition and poverty while promoting healthier lifestyles. This project exemplifies how entrepreneurial innovation can tackle multiple social challenges simultaneously through thoughtful design and collaborative implementation.
