As various countries relaxed their immigration control and social distancing measures against COVID-19, there was an upsurge in the numbers of outbound exchange students (OES) of the College of Business (CB). To further promote internationalization and encourage local students to have their valuable experience to study abroad, CB kicked off the 2-day Student Exchange Fair on 12 January, 2023 to be organized by the Global Engagement Office (GEO).
Booths were set up by different Colleges/Schools of CityU to attract interested students. CB provided informative leaflets and information about the upcoming student exchange programme to potential applicants as well as the Summer Programmes. To let students know more about the diversity of the exchange destinations, participants were invited to play a country & attraction-matching game. 14 of the countries worldwide have been selected and students needed to match these countries to their famous attractions respectively. Feedbacks from participants were positive as their international insights had been broadened and also received CB souvenir. With the interaction between returned students and inbound exchange students, local students’ interest and knowledge with the Student Exchange Programmes (SEP) were enhanced.
The College of Business is looking forward to welcoming more students engaged in the forthcoming SEP for 2023-2024.
