At the opening ceremony, Professor Way Kuo, the University President, said "It would be most beneficial when knowledge transfer can take place in society. A good combination of teaching and research distinguishes CityU from other institutions, and we always make sure that the research we conduct is useful to society."

Two CB projects were showcased.
