Mr Wilson Chong donates auto temperature scanners to the College

The College of Business of City University of Hong Kong received in-kind contributions of two sets of auto temperature scanners and some other products from Rightlink Technology Limited founded by Mr Wilson Chong, an alumnus of BA in Quantitative Analysis for Business and the awardee of the College’s Distinguished Alumni Award 2019.

Mr Chong has more than 20 years of experience in the mobile telecom industry. He is the Managing Director of Rightlink Technology Limited which specialises in design, R&D, production and sales of mobile phones and smart products. In 2016, Mr Chong established the IOT HK Association. It organises exhibitions, sharing sessions, IOT application competitions, and promotes the exchange of IOT applications across China and Taiwan, aiming to strengthen the sharing of IOT resources across these regions.

“Our company stands by the community and our customers in good times and in challenging times. I wish to contribute to my alma mater, and to play a part in contributing a safe learning environment at the College of Business,” said Mr Chong

Professor Frank Chen, Dean of College of Business, expressed gratitude to Mr Chong for his generous donation. He said, “Mr Chong has been an ardent supporter to the College and he is the awardee of the College’s Distinguished Alumni Award 2019. He has been contributing his industry knowledge to the University and the College. He is a mentor of our Young Scholars Programme and CityU’s inno-preneurship Mentoring Scheme.”
