Dr Xi Li named MSI Young Scholar

Dr Xi Li, Assistant Professor of the Department of Marketing, has been named 2021 MSI Young Scholar. Dr Li is also one of the only two young faculty from an Asian university selected as MSI Young Scholars.

Professor Frank Chen, Dean of the College of Business, said, “The College would like to congratulate on his success as a young scholar and I would also like to express my heartfelt congratulations to Dr Li on being selected to this elite group of young marketing scholars.”

The Marketing Science Institute (MSI) is a non-profit member organization for renowned marketing scholars and leading marketers from around the world to create an unbiased platform for scientific research, purposeful collaborations, and peer-to-peer networking. MSI Young Scholars is a biennial program to bring together many of the best young marketing academics in the world. MSI hosts a four-day gathering to provide a forum for these scholars to discuss their research, to encourage future collaboration, and to foster their interest in solving real-world marketing problems.
