BBA Management student crowned champion of HKGCC’s Pitch Perfect Programme
Rachel Lau Pui-ying won the Pitch Perfect Programme 2023 of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce’s on 22 May. Rachel’s achievement was recognised with the title of Chamber Student Ambassador. She also won a cash prize of HK$10,000 and the opportunity to meet with a distinguished business leader to gain knowledge about the corporate world.
The Pitch Perfect Programme was launched on 1 March 2023 by HKGCC’s Young Executives Club. The programme ran for three months over four stages, with more than 80 students from 10 local universities taking part in training courses, company visits, internships and mentorships, which helped them develop essential workplace skills. The activities culminated in the semi-final and final rounds, where students underwent hypothetical job interviews with representatives from the sponsor companies and the Chamber leadership.
