ScholarMate is a platform for sharing publications and disseminating research outputs. Using big data analytics, researchers can receive recommendations on relevant opportunities based on their profiles. Registered users can conveniently share their publications with their peers so as to create impact and increase citations using the research social network platform. The research was licensed through former university subsidiary CITINet Systems Ltd. During 2013-18, over 80 government funding agencies and 100,000 research institutions used the services, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and over 3.6 million researchers have used the platform to share and discover knowledge.
