Biography

Dr. Casey K.C. Lim rejoined the Department in August 2022 as Visiting Associate Professor. He has served as the Program Director, China at Macquarie Business School, Macquarie University, an adjunct faculty at The University of Sydney Business School, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a part-time lecturer at the University of Hong Kong.

Casey graduated with a Bachelor in Engineering (Civil, Honors) from the National University of Singapore. He obtained his MBA from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder.

His areas of interest include corporate finance, sustainable finance, investments, and risk management in financial institutions. He provided consulting services on corporate financing and valuation to several corporations from 2001 to 2007.
